Ben Labbe discovered the joy of working with his hands in high school. His skilled woodworking teacher instilled in him a passion for working with wood and a true appreciation for quality. Shortly after graduating, his former teacher became a contractor, building some of the finest custom homes in the Comox Valley. Ben served his apprenticeship under him, becoming a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter.

He honed his skills, working on every aspect of fine home building. Eventually he became a foreman, overseeing top trades and crafts people in the valley. In 2004, when his mentor retired, Ben formed his own company and has quickly built a reputation for creating some of the finest custom homes in the Comox Valley.

Perhaps his area of particular expertise is fit and finish. Every joint is precise and tight; every finishing detail is absolute perfection.

Ben says; “I like solving problems and overcoming challenges and I take tremendous pride in building something unique – in building very special homes for my clients. And I want to make the building process an enjoyable one for my clients. Building is my passion and creativity is my strength.”
